Cleaning Procedure
1. Remove bandage 6 hours after having it applied.
2. Immediately after removing bandage, with clean hands, wash tattoo gently with soap. Rinse well with warm water.
3. Pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel. If some ink transfers do not panic. This is normal.
4. Apply a very thin layer of A+D original ointment. Do not re-bandage.
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 every six hours while awake for the first three days. The tattoo will feel sore this is normal.
6. Starting on the fourth day repeat steps 2 to 4 but this time with fragrance-free moisturizing lotion (Curel or Lubriderm). Continue doing this for the next ten days. The tattoo will start to peel and scab, this is normal.
7. Afterwards the tattoo may look shiny or white, Do not panic because this is normal. Continue applying the lotion.

DO NOT: Scratch, pick, peel, expose to sunlight, Submerge in water or allow pets to lick or scratch it.

Follow these simple steps to keep your new tattoo and/or piercing clean, comfortable, and looking its best from day one.
